About me

Hey there! I'm Cora, a UX designer who enjoys crocheting cute plushies and getting lost in fantastical worlds. When I’m not indulging in my hobbies, I’m designing experiences for the real world!

Having worked for a small business as their sole marketing copywriter, I used my skills in Photoshop and Figma alongside ecommerce platforms Shopify and Omnisend to produce and write content copy for digital marketing. My background in English and graphic design skills also helped to boost user engagement and sales conversion.

I decided to fully pursue UI/UX design because it initially tied in with my previous work while also letting me explore and learn new things that I could use to grow my career. When I first started out on this journey, I don’t think I realized the true scope that UX covered. However, after having learned and experienced it, I found myself enjoying the design process and wanting to make more enjoyable experiences for people.

Just as UX design has become something fulfilling for me, I want to fulfill other people's goals and expectations when they use and engage with digital products I have created. My journey has only just begun but with these small steps, I hope to make bigger leaps and continue growing as a designer and a person!
